Welcome to the DOBE RESCUE OF MICHIGAN Home Page! We're happy you stopped by.

DOBE RESCUE
is always in dire need of volunteers for various assignments. We are also in desperate need of foster homes. Donations are what make DOBE RESCUE possible in the first place. We are a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization run strictly by volunteers. This allows public support and all donations to be fully tax deductible. We are an independent organization, and do not receive tax dollars of financial support from a "parent" organization. The cost of operating DOBE RESCUE is supported by contributions from individuals, memorial fund designations, and various fund raisers. No money is spent other than covering the expenses of Dobermans, be it medical or kenneling when no foster homes are available. The cost of phone calls, mailing, and other expenses are absorbed by our volunteers. Thanks to all the volunteers that make this possible!

PLEASE HELP A DOBERMAN -- They will THANK YOU!

She was pregnant and he had just saved her from a fire in her house, rescuing her by carrying her out of the house into her front yard. Then he continued to fight the fire.

When he finally got done putting the fire out, he sat down for a moment to catch his breath and rest.

A photographer from the Charlotte, North Carolina newspaper noticed her in the distance looking at the fireman. He saw her walking straight toward the fireman and wondered what she was going to do.

As he raised his camera, she came up to the
tired man who had saved her life and the lives of her babies. She kissed him just as the photographer snapped this photograph.
